Default 9 inch rear

Here's one for you guys, anyone know the most economical way to find a for 9 inch posi rearend for a 68 stang? I swapped the 200 straight six for a 87 5.0. Needless to say the one wheel drive in back doesn't cut it. I thought about pickup trucks, anyone ever try this before? let me know, thanks

These rear axles fit with little or no mods: 1957 Fairlane (I'm using one),67-71Ranchero,mid 70s Lincoln Versailles(this is the one to get rear discs) 67-73 Mustangs. But dont expect to get off cheap as they are getting scarce.

try one out of a 60's bronco, they were fairly narrow in width.

Too bad you are so far away, once it warms up I am going to put the 9' out of my ranchero and put in the stang I will consider selling the 9' currently in my car. Its from a 57 Fairlane yes 57 not 67, bolts right in the reason I am changing is the 71 is a 3.00 posi where the 57 is a 3something open.</P>
