Fastback a GT?

Default Fastback a GT?

Was a fastback automatically a GT mustang or was it an option to both the GT and V6? Thanks.

No, not all fastbacks are GTs, But all GTs are V8s. I think there were GT coupes also.

No.....very few fastback Mustangs were GT's. That was a factory option package. So, to answer your question, all fastbacks were not GT's.

Soaring is correct. The fastback (or "2+2") was simply a body style. The GT package was something entirely separate. It could be had on any of the three body styles (fastback, coupe, or convertible).
