Carb Spacer
I ran into a stupid "problem" which of course, none of the manuals describe.
But i am sure most of you mustang enthousiasts will know the answer to my question.
I got my carb spacer here, but i don't remember wich side goes up (and connects to the carb) and which side goes down (to the manifold)
Can you guys give me your opinion. Thx

Ok thanks. But hey, In my rebuild kit there are 3 identical gaskets. So i guess one goes on top of the spacer, the other one underneath and what about the third one ?
Where does it go ?
Where does it go ?
Tyler is right. The aluminum spacrers stilll radiate heat from the engine into the carb. If it were mine, I would replace the spacer with a phenolic spacer. You may experience vapor lock with an aluminum spacer, so I suggest a phenolic spacer. The old racers of old times just cut out plywood to use as spacers. It worked for them, as wood dispenses heat better than metals.
