Never been there, but Ive ordered parts from them. They seem pretty good, but they dont have the kind of stock that, say, CJponyparts or mustangs unlimited has.

Yeah, I know what you're talking about. Still when I'm in Dallas I like to swing by and talk to the pros that know every bolt of every Mustang. They're like Ford Gods.

I have a stock AM radio that has been modified to accept an IPod. A guy eBay sells them for $225. You can barelt see the hole. You hit the five button and bingo. I also upgraded my front speaker and it sounds pretty good. But it's hard to hear with my loud exhaust.....

I currently have no Sound system in my 72. THe head unit that a PO installed didn't work and he did a lousy job of wiring the speakers, I think he used 24 ga solid bell wire. He cut the dash opening to accomodate the head unit. So that brings me to the question of what am I going to do for a system? I am rather lucky as my step-brother owns his custome car audio business with two locations in the poconos. When I am ready for the system I am going to take it to him and work out a deal. His last personal vehicle was an expedition that he totally did everything it had ungodly amount of wattage from the audio, DVD player games system and like 7 video monitors, and custome paint that he did all the work for. It was an award winner at some big truck show in texas a couple years ago.

ez...shame on you!!! LOL Your car is obviously a restomod and that's cool. A lot of us want to go back to stock or at least as close to it as possible. And there are a lot of butchers out there who really destroyed these cars. I have a lot of work to do to fix and restore my ride but it's all part of it.

I like the idea of the ipod going into the am radio. But I'm also thinking a hidden sound system may be pretty cool too. I'm torn!!! That speaker mat is cool!!

One of the few things missing on mine is a radio, I have the original in the car, the trunk. But I haven't hooked it up yet. I have a little system in the daily driver, but I really don't think it's a good idea to put one in the old school cars, maybe a cd player and speakers, but the sub might get ruined/hurt your car by making all the loose screws even more loose.
Best thing to do is put factory radio in, disconect it, then put a 5 disc changer in the glove box or under your seat, or you can make something to put it in, somebody on here did that and he put it on the roof. So you have the classic look with the essentials of today. And nobody breaks into old school cars to steal the radios.

I cut my bezel and installed a cd player with Pioneer 3 way speakers. I think it looks good. If it's your car, don't worry bout what everyone else is telling you, build it how you want it, you're driving it. The only problem is that I have to crank it to hear it over my car.
