when bolting the flex plate up to my 5.0 with an aod tranny what are the torque specs?

 

On the C4 they are 20-30 lbs/ft.

If no one chimes in tonight, that should be a safe torque until you can get hold of a Ford dealer tomorrow. You're not going racing tonight are you?

 

i think i found the info i need online...they said 75-85 lb on 3 diff sites...i used an old ghetto torque wrench but should be good enough...ran into a problem though, the bolts that where used to bolt up the c4 are too short for the Aod so now i have to wait again till my next day off to get some bolts
