Why do you want to do this?
Hi guys thanks for your advice.
Long story as short as i can be.
Yes after market booster but from a dealer and for a 65.
Did have the orginal 65 Gt front brakes but just now upgraded to Baer front brakes from CJ pony parts so everything new complete bolt on upgrade
But as before brake pedal soft, still to install adjustable proportional valve and also have scott drake ajustable brake rod from the pedal into booster but not sure how to remove present rod.
Have bleed everything a number of times now with no improvement.
Any advice would be great
Thanks mike

Number one--
You can't remove push rods in these boosters. If a non adjustable now, it will remain that way, or cut thread, Cobble it up.
Number 2-
Putting in a adjustable push rod will do absolutely nothing to fix you problem. There have been may responses to "Adjust the push rod" and this does not pertain to the pedal push rod, it is solely for the master cylinder side push rod.
You need to Forget you quest, look at other factors.
Kinda blunt here, but this will save you BUNCHES of time, money.

Thanks Dan
Blunt is good
Will keep looking
Thought I would have stop on a dime brakes by now but something is not right
Will install proportional valve and see where that takes me
Do you think it is possible it may be to smaller booster for the car
Anyway thanks

I'm assuming you have stock rear drum brakes???
If so, does the new master have a 10 pound residual valve in the master (FRONT PORT OF MASTER).
If not, do a inline 10 pounder first.
How did you adjust the rear shoes---Adjust till lockup, then back off, GREAT!!
