Default belt routing problems

Hey guys,

Im back, with more problems. Go figure.

Anyway, I mounted the pulley and fan from the alternator on my 89 mustang motor on the new alternator I got to fit my 65 mustangs wiring set up so that it would match the pulley on my harmonic balancer. The alternator pulley and balancer pulley match up great, my problem is that the new water pump pulley I had to buy (didnt have one on the donor 89 motor) does not extend back far enough, and as a result doesnt line up with the alternator and balancer pulleys. I was wondering, do any of you know of a different pulley that may work? A stock pulley wont work since its smooth and designed to be run in a serpentine fashion, and the March performance pulley I bought wont work because it is 2 inches deep from mounting face to the far pulley groove (maybe 2 1/16", kinda hard to get a nice measurement on it), and I need one that is about 3 inches from face to back.

(And I know I could probably get an old harmonic balancer pulley and water pump pulley to match the alternator pulley that came on the 65 style alternator (v belt) but id prefer to stick with the 6 groove style on the 89 motor if at all possible)

Any help getting this sorted out would be great, thanks!
