1972 Ford Mustang Fastback price range
Hello all, I have a bit of a problem, I was just offered $50,000 for my grandma's old '72 fastback I need to know quickly if I am being taken for a ride, or if I should jump at this offer. 88k original miles 1 owner garaged for 25 years, from MI so there is a bit of rust on the undercarriage, but not much.
Thanks for your time,

Im not the expert on the 72', but that sounds really really good. Maybe someone more familiar with the 70's models could chime in on this one. However, I have seen fully restored perfect condition 65-68's go for 50k. And these are perfect.
Do you know if the car is rare? what kind of engine is in it? what kind of condition is it? Any rust?
These are some questions the other forum members are going to ask.

Thanks for the info on the 60's Mustangs. This car isn't in perfect shape, but there have been no accidents or other body damage to speak of other than the rust from MI.
She told me that when she purchased it, she asked for 'the biggest engine' (Why, we may never know) but its a V-8.

Yeah, It seemed weird to me too. The car is nice, been covered in a garage since '79. But through my online searches I haven't seen very many. It may be rare, I'm not sure. But the nature of the offer, and his high pressure technique lead me to believe that he is either a fool, an affaciando, or a cutthroat.

Tyler, he's not looking to buy, he's had someone give him an offer to buy his grandma's car.
Damn, those ebay ones are nice! I better never get rich, or I'll have a fleet of muscle cars.
