Default 2005 gt wheels on '67 coupe

does anyone have a picture of these wheels and tires on a car like mine??? ('67 coupe)

http://store.cal-mustang.com/showdetl-7-9273-25-0.html

my local mustang shop is selling these and says that they'll fit with a spacer that they also sell

I'm just not sure how it'll look because I have drum brakes and will probably see the drums through the wheels

Any opinions? pics?

thanks

Those look pretty nice. You can paint the drums to make them look better.

I would not suggest you use spacers. It puts undue pressure on the lug nuts. Consider doing it right the first time, and upgrading the brake system. Good looking wheels are nice, but that is the last thing you want to do.

They do make a lot of rims of that same style that are made to fit a classic mustang. The price is just about the same.

are you saying that if i convert to disc then i won't need the spacers?

and then i won't have as much pressure on the lugs?

mostly i am going for looks since i don't race...but i don't want to do something that isn't safe

what might happen with the spacers??? break some lugs?

I'm still interested in seeing a picture if anyone has one

thanks...

These arent the same rims but still nice bullets. These rims are made for a classic mustang.

Yeah, with the Granda upgrade you essentially change the backspacing as well as upgrading the brakes to disks.

Hey, check out some of American Racings rims. They look awesome on classic Mustangs. I put a set of Torq Thrust II's on my 67 coupe, and everybody loves the look.
