Default Inline Six oil leak

Pictures below show the location of the leak on this 200ci inline 6. Very minimal amount over the last two months only. About every 75 miles of driving, I wipe this off. Any ideas or repair options are appreciated.

A very small gasket leak. Not to worry. It would not be worth the money and trouble to take off the heads and put some permatex on that gasket at that corner.

Soaring...thanx for the quick reply. I had heard/read of others mention how common these head gasket leaks are from these mustangs but didn't know how much leakage would be a significant problem. Guess I can live with wiping this oil off occasionally. Just don't like the idea of having a slow leak and not addressing it. However, there happens to be plenty other repairs the son and I can be working on in the mean time.

Cogtx, I am the son in my father-son project. How old is your son? will this be his car? I bought my mustang and have to pay for all my parts. My dad just helps me. Oh yeah its pretty bad when you have a car payment on a 65 mustang. My grandma loaned me the money.

Oh, you can fix it with some permatex on that corner, and BTW, that is a common problem with head gasket replacement, but I would not worry about it. If it were mine, I would cinch down the head bolts to torque specs again. Especially the ones on that corner.

Soaring...thanx again for the advice. We will probably work on torquing those head bolts sometime soon. Hopefully, that will be a quick, simple fix (for now).

Tylerdru...My son is 16 years old but turns 17 today. He saved up his money over the last couple of years and put it in a saving acct online. His mom and matched what he could save for a vehicle he really liked. He was interested in all of the older model cars but this one was the one in his price range and in the best shape. You seem to be getting after that stang you purchased and learning alot about repairs. Grandmas are great for getting loans!!! Hope she is not charging you too much interest!!! Good luck and keep posting....

Here's a pic of the day he purchased the stang...both parties were very happy!!!

Oh, Im fifteen and I am getting my car ready to drive by the time i turn 16 in the summer. I wish my mom would have matched the money in my savings. ( if i had a savings) i would have had like 5000 if i had saved up all the years! now i have to pay my grandma $100 a month. It is all worth it. well there is interest because my grandma got us a loan. My family cannot a get any car loans because we own too many cars. My mom has a 2003 altima and e-150 cargo van for her business. My dad has a 2001 explorer. And the sister has a 2002 mirage. I guess you cant have more than four loans.
