Default too cool or not to cool - 66 i6 a.c????

looking to get a 66 coupe (red, hence the name) w/ an i6. dont know if it has ac but think in all probability it no-gots.

as this is Florida, and The Spouse is a tender flower easily wilted, was wondering what kind of pain and suffering i would be self inflicting to attempt installing a.c.

thx

Its actually pretty easy. You can look for a vintage unit but i would look into an aftermarket set up like this

With the newer freon you can get it at any auto parts store to fill the system.

I recently drove a 65 with the CAA "Perfect Fit" system. Worked very well, put out at least as much cold air as my factory 66 system. Ran very smooth. Replaces the OE heater, and uses the heater control you have now for both heat and AC. She will be pleased.
