Default Suspension upgrades

G'day from Aussie,
Well into a full nut and bolt resto on my 67 coupe and I'm upgrading the front end as far as strengthening goes. Unfortunately down here in Australia we don't have the luxury of some of the great gear you guys have on the shelf and it generally costs an arm and leg by the time it lands here.
So far i have made roller spring perches and put in some gussets as per the Boss 302 chassis modification book. I have also custom made an export brace/ monte carlo bar set up that looks great. I will also be welding up a far bit of the shock tower area.
In the Boss book it describes a modification to the crossmember tying in the LCA.....can this be done to a 67 LCA mount ?
Any other tips on front and rear end mods would be greatly appreciated....I,m pretty handy on the tools and i really enjoy upgading my stang.

Yep, thanks. I have been in touch with RSS Australia, but I,m leaving my mustang LHD as it is legal to register and drive. They have some nice gear, but i'm looking at modifications I can do myself. I have fabricated sub frame connectors and I am looking at rollerizing the LCA and LCA's as well as adding some backbone to them.

After thinking hard you could tie the rocker panels in to the sub frame connectors like this kit http://www.globalwest.net/67-73-must...-stifners.html and they look like this installed http://marshall-goldberg.com/images/...e/MVC-008S.JPG

Take a look at pg. 6 of the Cobra Automotive catalog, you should be able to add webs to your stock cross brace to tie into the LCA mounts.
http://www.cobraautomotive.com/cat%2...5-11-12FIN.pdf

Another thing I'd suggest is changing out the stock strut rods to use heim joints at front in place of the rubber bushings. Here are couple of my favorite idea sites:
Start with 'Suspension 101'

and John's great products are a good idea place:
