Default No keys need help

I have misplaced my key to my 65 mustang. That is not an issue because I can drill it out later..the full restoration is going to require me to put new locks in any way. THe problem is trying to figure how to wire a bypass trigger under the hood so I can turn the motor over so when I can put the gauge on each cylinder and get a reading before I pull the motor. Hooking to starter solenoid requires the key to be on. How do I get juice to a push button and where do I need to hook it to get juice to the starter.

Get a remote starter from Sears, Harbor Freight or most parts houses. Hook one lead up to the + terminal on the battery and the other lead up to the S terminal on the solenoid. The key doesn't need to be in the run position to turn the engine over.

Thanks, I am still getting no juice, Something is not connecting some where. My battery it is bad but I charged it and I at least should be gettinga clicking noise. the only other thing I can try is pulling the wires off the back of the ignition switch and put it in the power position and then try it under the hood again. Something is just not getting power

I finally got some action. I hooked the positive jumper cable to the battery and touched the post. The battery is too weak. the solenoid just clicks... so I went straight to the starter cable and it barley turned. Thanks for you help.
