Update; After pretty much deciding not to rebuild the 377 Clevor, it looks like the HO may be the way to go. We can't find a replacement piston at a reasonable price...
Just might use the HO short block and install my 377's cam, fluidamper, carb, MSD parts but maybe get some different heads to bump up the CR and get rid of the E5AE heads from the HO. I'll need a new intake and other parts also.
Could be pretty fun afterall

Yes. I'n a 68.

Like already stated, oil pan will be the biggest issue. I bought the 3/4 length TRI "Y" headers by Doug's and didn't have any fitment issues. I can't tell you about the height of the motor because the deck height is taller then a 302, but I was already using a custom intake so it was not a concern at the time.

I can't see your sig pix, but by the description it looks like supercharged it also?
What other mods were required?

Bad news...it is not an 86 HO, it's a reman of unknown specs. The cam is way small, the heads are D8s and who knows about the rest of it.
It may be back to square one.

go to a junkyard and look for 93-97ish f series trucks and e series vans..(iirc 93-94 are setup for rollers with the holers for the spider but just had flat tappet cams)

also could try www.car-part.com and do a search also craigslist for wrecked trucks/vans etc

Roller cam is definitely in the future, but maybe on my old block if it still usable. Should know soon.
We are planning a 408/410W with a goal of 500hp by analysis.
