Default Radiator E fan combo

I have been looking for a looong time now (). There are so many choices that Im not able to make a decision anymore.

I have a 66 with a 450hp 330 in it. I would like to make sure it stays cool. I am wanting to spend up to 350 for a combo. I will also use a derale switch.

Please help me decide.

Thanks all...

Hi
Are you have cooling problems now with what you are running? If so, are you running a shroud, coolant recovery, 180 T/S, proper blade to radiator distance?
The reason I ask, is my junk makes 392 RWHP (333) I run the above with a 4 row brass now rad. and have not had any year-round cooling problems.
Electrics just make it more complicated and subject to failure. Although those two row, 1 inch finned ALumns are nice in themselves.

No issues yet. But my radiator is in very sad shape. Every thing else is great, I just want to protect my investment.

I have been going back and forth about Efan vs mech fan. I like how clean the efans look and haven't heard more horror stories about them than other setups.

Have had great experience with the Champion rads but I would suggest buying a SPAL fan. The ones they provide are so so and picking out your SPAL from their site and then buying it from amazon are your best bet.

the lincoln mark 8 fan is the highest flowing fan you can buy and can be had for like 20$ at a pick and pull place....the taurus with the 3.0 in the mid 90s body style uses the same fan but the pitch of the fan blades is different so it flows a little less...if you find the taurus you can also pull the 3g (130amp) alternator(youre gonna have to upgrade it too to handle the increased load)

I'll look into those. What kind of modification is needed for install? I am upgrading to a 100amp already.
