All it takes $$$$

Best thing to do is lose the entire front suspension and shock towers in place of a k-member style M2 setup. Check out TOtal Cost Involved, Rod and Custom, Detroit Speed Engineering, and Hiedts.

It's expensive. You'll get more performance for money spent by not using a "modern" engine. And even older pushrod engines can be made "modern" with the use of newer tech parts. Yeah, the block is the same, but that's not an issue.

What are your concerns? Shock towers will need to be cut back or completely removed. Theres alot of fab work and diffently some trial and error. It is more expensive than a traditional 5.0 or 5.8 rebuild and swap, but I wouldn't hesitate to do it again on another build. Well worth it to me ,especially the cool factor. Good Luck

General rule of thumb, if your ultimate goal is highest performance per $ spent, don't do the swap. If you just want a newer OHC engine for whatever reason (show car, cool factor, smoothness etc), then go ahead, but you'll have to spend money to do it right.

Though, with ANYTHING on cars, you have to spend money to do it right.
