flowmaster 40 series vs 44 series !?

Default flowmaster 40 series vs 44 series !?

hi,

i want to put a full exhaust systeme on my 68 fastback with a 289 4 bbl. i decide to go with a H pipe. What its the difference between the flowmaster 40 series and 44 series ?!

its best to call them. they have 40 series, super 40, 44 series and super 44.

the less baffles it has the louder they are. the info on their site sucks.

As I recall, the 44 is a little quieter and slightly less raspy. That said, they're both obnoxious and can produce an irritating drone.

Does people recommende a other brand ?! I want a dual exhaust with the muscle cars sound !!

I have the super 44's and love them. I have a bug cam and with long tubes my car sounds amazing to me. I admit though if you like quiet and luxury they are not for you but the louder it is to me the better.

i had 40s on my 91 GT i like them. either will sound good. but if you drive on the freeways all the time for hours on end maybe you will want something a little quieter

I've had Blowmasters before, and never will again. I prefer Dynomax and Magnaflow.
