Default Removing the radiator?

I have recently acquired a '65 6 cylinder/auto Mustang coupe. Looks like I am going to need to radiator repair and there's a good shop nearby. I am looking for tips on how best to remove the radiator, block of the transmission cooler lines and not lose all of my transmission fluid in the process. I figure I may as well drain and discard all the antifreeze as I'll have the radiator cleaned while being repaired ( it leaks across the top of the tank on the engine side.)

Thanks for the help.

Slip a piece of hose over both ends of the transmission lines.

Although, you won't loose that much fluid if you just let it drip.
When we're doing a radiator swap here at the shop, we never block the trans lines and rarely lose more than a cup of fluid.
