Default Need a correct thickness windshield for a 65

Where can I get a correct thickness windshield for a 65 Coupe?
I have tried... CJ Pony, they have windshields but they don't know how thick they are. Local shop, the glass is too thin, closer to .200 inches thick.
I have the original which is .265 inches thick, just over 1/4 inch. I would like to replace it with the same thickness.

There many threads on many Mustang forums discussing the issue of reproduction windshields being thinner than the original glass. I replaced my windshield a few years ago with a Carlite reproduction and haven't had any problems. I had the company I bought it from also etch the original Carlite logo and numbers from my original windshield (OEM Glass, no longer in business). Unless you find an original, you're probably stuck with having to buy a repro. Below is a link on another forum that discusses the issue in detail. Hope this is helpful.

I had mine replaced by Safelite, came out to the house, they had Carlite as a glass option, and they had a guy who knew wtf to do with older rubber mold windshields.
