Default front suspension

in replacing the front spindles on a 68' 6 cylinder car with the granada v8 spindles, is it necessary to replace the control arms also?
thanks,
carl

No Carl. That is not necessary. Here is what parts you need if you are doing the Granada brake swap. This parts list was taken off the FAQ section above. Go there to get more info.

· Spindles (everything from spindle out)

· Rotors (may be reusable)

· Calipers, can use as cores or rebuild (Appendix A)

· Dust shields

· Brake Hoses

· Caliper Hardware

· Bearings (may reuse, but why?)

· Both outer tie rods

· Both adjusting sleeves

· Brake hose to frame mounting hardware (may not need)

· Brake proportioning valve (also called brake fluid distribution block)

· Master Cylinder (rebuild or use as core)

Agreed! You should have no issues there.

No, they are the same control arms. Those are about the only suspension parts that are the same though.
