My problem was similar, the stock engine mounts break every few months. If it was a stck.market engine I'm sure they would be fine. But that's not my case.

you can run around 350 hp in a 347 stroker and not break the stock type mounts if they are a good brand . . i have done it lots of times . . if you have sticky tires and dunp the clutch at 4000 rpm then even those will break.
