Default 66 Project

Recently got a 66 with a 289 in it. The engine runs, though it does need some work. A little bit of work on the body too, but nothing too bad. The main problems right now are the brakes and the automatic transmission. I'm trying to get the transmission running so I can save up and upgrade the engine and other parts first, but it's not going well. I've decided to swap to a manual instead. I'd prefer a 5 speed but a 4 speed would work too. Anytime I see any for sale they are sold almost immediately (or at least the ones that aren't expensive). I know it will be a bit of work but I'm alright with that. Does anyone have any ideas where I can get a working T5 for around $700 or a 4 speed for around $400?
