Default New 1965 Pre-Purchase Door Code decode Issue

I am considering buying my first Mustang, a 1965 Coupe. However, I am a bit concerned about a couple of things...
1. The door codes do not match current interior/exterior color (no biggie, I can live with it)
2. Exterior color code shows "F" which I get conflicting results for availability, depending on which decoder I use.

I just want to make sure that I am not getting scammed on my 1st purchase. Any tips???

Thanks...Jim

it is not uncommon to have a door exchange on classic cars, thus the data plate may not match. Equally, the car has most likely had one or more repaints over its lifetime.

How do you feel you may be scammed?
