Default Radiator install

So my radiator came in the mail, I went with the champion aluminum 3 row for my 289. For install I've been reading that people power flush it before installing a new radiator, how does one do this with typical house hold tools, is it necessary?

New ones should have been pressure tested and flushed to check for leaks...I hope.

if your car ran hot before and still runs hot it is possibly because of the radiator because the chinese rads hold at least 25% less water than a us made one.

There are flush kits that include a "T" valve with a garden hose fitting that you install in one of your heater hoses
