HP 358W in and more soon
Well the HP358W is in and does it run good ! The 302 I had was okay, but this 358 puts it to shame.
Got the aluminum pulleys on, aluminum radiator with electric fans on.
Have the seats upgraded to a lot more comfortable ones.
In the next few weeks I will be putting a Big ***** Thumper cam in it, electric vacuum pump and chrome canister for the power brakes...
And the new "Mustangs of Illinois" front window logo like the one on my truck...
Then car show time in a few weeks after that, hope to see some of you at some Illinois car shows..

Just for the way it sounds. The cam I have is close to it, but doesn't sound as good. I use to have one in my HP289 and really liked it. Not worried about performance wise, as it is just a driver/show car and not a racer..
I would love to get rid of it. But I was in the understanding that that distributor needed a ballast resistor to supply less voltage to it ? Or has anybody out there had one and never used it ?
It is on because I had found this and talked to Mallory about it..
Before installing the UNILITE ® Distributor, make sure that your vehicle is equipped with an ignition ballast resistor (or loom resistance wire) in the wire between the ignition switch and the coil (+)terminal. Check a service manual for your vehicle to locate the ignition ballast resistor (or loom resistance wire). If your vehicle is not equipped with an ignition ballast resistor, install a Mallory Ignition Ballast Resistor Part No. 700 in the wire between the ignition switch and the coil (+) terminal.
Failure to use an ignition ballast resistor will eventually destroy the UNILITE ® Ignition Module.
