Default Loss of power steering fluid

1966 conv Ford Mustang 289 owner here. Blew a power steering hose in the parking garage of my office building. After apologizing for the mess it made I now need to get it to a shop for repairs. Is it drivable if I remove the belt driving the power steering pump? Would prefer to drive it to the shop rather than towing it there.

Thanks for the help.

My power steering ram was leaking like a stuck pig. I still drove it and kept an eye on the fluid.

Did your hose completely blow, or is it a split? Could you scab a piece of rubber tubing over the power steering hose and use hose clamps to minimize the leaking so you can get it to a shop?
