did any mustangs come with disk brakes stock?

Yep, they have been an option since 65. They became more common starting in 67.

its true they were an option starting in 65, but provided all 65-66 gts came with them as a package, not an option. Soaring mentioned that in 67 they were more common, however the only change was 67 gt's did not have disk brakes standard. I dont know why it was done, but it was as an option

Nonetheless, all 67's on up had the option of front disks, whether they were a GT or not.

what are the other differences between a non gt and gt? I have a '67 289. I guess its not a gt. It did not have disc brakes on it when I got it. It does now but what else is different?

Some also had the 289 Hipo, and S-code 390 4-v, etc. They also had air, PS, Disks, console, Tach, interior and exterior decor groups, stripes, Deluxe steering wheel.
