Default Heidts steering rack part

Hi, new guy here! Sorry for reposting this but I had no replies in the Mustang II section and people said it's a very dry section.

Just to start off, I have worked on early model mustangs for years; however, this is my first (and personal) mustang that has a Heidts Mustang II front suspension. About a month ago, I had an object in the road destroy one of the steel lines on my steering rack. I have since then pulled the belt to keep from ruining the PS pump; yet, this has also left me without AC (don't judge. previous owner got crafty with a torch and made his own V-belt assembly). I have looked far and wide for this part and my mechanic says I probably won't find this part for sale alone. Pull-A-Part had nothing to offer so he said I'd be better off getting a new rack.

Here's a picture of the line that I require. If anyone has any tips on where to find them, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Just to add, the steering rack came from a 1996 Thunderbird

Hey, If it has -an fittings on the ends(assuming it does) I would simply swap it out for a flexible braided brake line of the correct length. All of the racks we use in racing are done that way now that we're all on bump stops and so close to the ground.

or 2nd choice- take it to a local shop that makes hydraulic hoses, they can make a new tube to fit.
