Ok so I purchased a replacement adjustable mirror for my 67 coupe. It does not function correctly. Like it seems to go in the wrong direction when you try to adjust with the lever inside. Is there a trick to the installation?

 

Just rotate the adjuster assembly in the door panel till it moves the correct direction. Originally they had a washer that had a tang on it that lined up with a slot in the door panel...
