I've run into the issue of the axle housing wrapping up and smashing my driveline into the floor pan. This became an issue when I switched to 17" wheels and UHP tires that actually grip. Total tire height is still 25" but traction is quite improved.

What are you guys doing to build a better pinion snubber that wont allow for much axle wrap and wont let my expensive driveline get beat up.

I would think something at nearly touches the shield on the housing would be a bout proper but will allow for some movement but be tough enough to arrest significant wrap.
