Default Torque Boxes on 67 Coupes

I have viewed a couple of 67 Coupes recently that had front torque boxes on one side only. Neither showed evidence of a box gone missing through corrosion or tidying up work after removal of box. Did some 67's leave the factory with a torque box only on one side?

My fastback had only the passenger side torque box. As I recall it that was pretty much SOP for 1967 then in 68 they went with torque boxes on both sides. I might be off base on that but you aren't the loner with the boner.

Mine only had one on the passenger side. I added the other one.

Coups until 68 only had one box on the driver side. The convertibles had 2 and subsequent years had 2.
