hey all-

My 66 fastback lost a grease / dust cap off the front axle. I have ordered a set from NPD and they were for a 69 (and didnt fit, too big), my bad I was ordering parts for my 69 vert. I stopped by the local napa shop and picked one up that was supposed to fit. and it is actually the same size as the one for the 69...

So I am wondering whether early 66 mustangs had different sized front axles... as there are clearly some differences.

Any thoughts would be helpful

I got some off the shelf at auto zone and they fit just fine on a 65
