Default Installing Dynamat

Do you suggest installing Dynamat to reduce the noise level coming from the floor? Is there a moisture retention problem?

I've never noticed any retention problem. If you install it correctly I don't see how moisture could form between the mat and the floors or doors. I heated the hell out of my mat as I was installing and was able to really get it down into the nooks and crannies with a roller and a bondo spreader.

Shouldn't be a moisture problem.

The black part of dynamat is some form of tar that resists water damage.

Good idea..
