Two funny stories from this week
#1:
Earlier this week, I was driving to work and I noticed a ticking sound coming from the engine. At first I thought It might be my broken spedometer cable, but when I rolled the window down it got louder. Then it went away.
Then I was driving home and it started again. Im going "oh crap, I have valve that's jammed in the block" or some crazy thing I have no idea about. Then It went away.
Well, I began to drive it again that night, and it started again, I immediately pulled over and popped the hood one final time to check.
It turns the radiator vent hose had popped out of position and the metal clips were hitting the fan. I laughed, and then continued to drive to my friends house.
#2:
Earlier this morning my car would not shift into third, and it was revving really high on the way to second. I was thinking my tranny was going out, or I was simply low on tranny fluid.
I was kind of scared, because transmission problems arent the best.
Then I looked down at the shifter bezel. It was in the '2' position. I clicked it back to drive, and went on my merry way.
The moral of the story is....dont do drugs.
