Ok thanks.
I'm gonna take the carb off and check it.

It is hard not being here to see the problem, but I'm here and I'm still having a hard time.

I'll let you know when I find what it is

yeah go through the carb, they are easy to work on there might be a piece of debris in there causing issues.

It sounds like the fuel pump is getting weak to me.

When were the plugs changed? If you are driving this thing at 1500 rpm, you are probably loading up the plugs and combustion chamber with carbon. When you step on it, does black smoke come out the tail pipe? Old engines are not made to run under 2k unlike the new stuff.
