66 Mustang heater fuse

Default 66 Mustang heater fuse

Why does my heater fuse blow when I turn ignition got new heater Moter but not connected and the resister not connected neither so why does it blow it

Short circuit to ground in the wiring. Trick is to find it. Easiest sometimes to re-wire the circuit with new wires, disconnect old and either rip out or leave there, disconnected. imp
