rear disc brakes
Since I already have the rear end out of my car...and like I said before I can get a 9" rear end from a 67 GT....But.....what I want to know is if there is a rear end that already has disc brakes on it..I already have the front converted to disc brakes with a kit from wilwood...but i can't seem to find a conversion for the rear.
The 67 GT was offered a rear wheel disk brake system as an option. Does the rear you are getting not have that option already on it? Some Granada’s and Monarch’s, and all Versailles came with disc brake equipped 9" rear ends. So, check the junk yards.
Awesome...no the rear end I have found has drum on the rear...I have checked juck yards all over PA and can't seem to find anything I want for my car...But when I get home I have to wait until spring anyway to do more shopping.

Sorry, here's one more site, apparently '97 Explorers have the same axle width as you, if you wanted to go that way
