Yeah it’s hard to hold phone and try to shake the driveshaft lol. There is a little play in it and you can tell it’s moving a little. But still nothing crazy.

Gun jam. Where did you get your yoke and bearing. Was it custom made for your T5 swap or something you were able to buy and install

I think I got the yoke from a mustang supply place online like NPD

The bushing I got from a local transmission place.

nothing was custom made it was the same yoke that fit the c4 and a bushing for T5. I did have to hone the bushing with a brake cylinder hone after installing it because of how tight it fits in the tailshaft. Hone check hone check repeat. You may not have to hone anything I hear this occurs sometimes because machining tolerances on the tailshaft housing could have been done better at the factory.

I honed the bushing until it took about 4 pounds to insert the yoke (slides in but you have to push just a bit). Before honing it could not be installed

Yes there is some play that can be felt its not a real bearing like a wheel bearing. So yes you can feel some very small amount of play with a new yoke and bushing but it should be much less than with the old system.
