Default which leafs to get from mustangsplus.com?

i'm looking to get this kit from mustangsplus.com. my car was a stock i6, and i'm dropping a small block 289/302 in there with a C4 and 8" rear end. they need me to specify sway bar size and leaf spring type/size. which setup will i need for my engine choice?

I replaced mine with a mid eye 4 1/12 leaf spring, and she sits just right.

do leaf springs have a major influence on how stiff the car rides?

I think 620 front coils are heavy duty enough, 1" front sway bar is good for serious street use and it fits very nice with 3/4" rear sway bar. Take 4,5 leaf mid eye rear spring and I think you have very nice suspension. If you drive some sort of historic race at track then you might consider 1 1/8" front sway bar and 5 leaf reverse eye rear springs.

I am doing right now suspension conversion to my “68 fb. I am installing 1" front sway bar, 600 front springs, lowering 1" upper suspension arms (so called Shelby mod), sub frame connectors, 4,5 leaf mid eye rear springs and 3/4" rear sway bar. This way I hope to get some up date to cornering.
