Default 67’ 289-302 Engine Build

Need some advice on my 67 mustang engine build. Currently has what I believe to be a rebuilt 289-302 2v engine in it. As my project car Ide like to up the performance just a bit without hindering daily driving ability. I know Edelbrock offers quite a few nice performance packages but I’m no mechanic. Any advice on the best bolt on upgrades would be greatly appreciated.

If you are tearing it down, then do a cam and nice heads like brodix st5.0 heads. If not, then do the basics like an aluminum dual plane intake, msd ignition, small 4 bbl carb like a holley 570 w vacuum secondaries, headers and dual exhaust like American thunder by Flowmaster. We just did this w heads and comp 262 cam and made 312 hp at 5100 rpm. Runs great.

*I hope this is not considered a "Post-Jacking" If so I apologize*
Is The American Thunder FlowMasters for the folks that wants loudness?..I need some mufflers but not wanting "too" loud
Just a good mellow tone..I'm old but want that sporty sound..If it's too loud my wife won't ride with me
I have a 67 with 302 and had the Edelbrock Top End, Aluminum Heads, and Headers installed..So I believe I got the fixings for a little
more HP..Just need the "right" mufflers now.
Thanks for any suggestions
