1967 Mustang Power steering cylinder fitment issue
Hey guys, I’m rebuilding the power steering and the cylinder won’t sit flush on the center link...i can’t tighten it anymore, I can’t even get the cotter-pin in...any ideas?

Tapered stud too large, may be wrong part, or, center link not original part, hole too small. Have seen this situation with ball joints in early year Mustangs.

Is it dangerous to leave it like this? Blue loctite and call a day? I know that thing is stuck in there now, I beat the **** out of it to get it that far in lol.

Dangerous, I would say no. However, if the taper between the hole & stud are seriously mismatched, it may in time, IMO, wiggle itself loose, which would become evident in handling "feel".
