Default power to manuel steering

I went to get the mustang aligned today and they couldnt. They said that since is had headers the power steering was modified. They said that I should get an adapter and go to manuel steering because the power steering is loosening everything up. So what should I do?

Dont listen to alignment shops. Most of them dont know what is going on with these old cars. ALL of the old mustang power steering was loose, but it doesn't make the alignment loose.

Ya but ive taken it to 2 places and both couldnt do it. My power steering cylinder isnt parallel to the ground so its not pushing everything over evenly. I havent checked to see if it have a longer bracket since i have headers, could that be it?
