Default Fuel Quantity Sender

The original fuel quantity tank sender unit in my fastback lasted from 1965-2005.Since then, I've bought replacements from all the usual suppliers and the best last 3-4 years. Seems like the wiper units are trash. I see that NAPA has a Spectra brand replacement for $80. If it was the same quality as OEM, it would be worth it but does anyone have experience with it? I'm afraid that they all come from the same factory in Taiwan and I might as well give up on ever getting a decent sender.

Spectra doesn't make most of their stuff. They are a company that buys white label products from all types of parts manufacturers and sticks their name brand on them so, quality from one batch is not the same as the next. Doesn't mean it's bad but, one persons good experience may be offset by another bad experience.

Anyways, What's the warranty?

There's a couple listed here. Spectra is one but the other is a Liland Global which specializes in Radiators, fuel tanks, and fuel sending units. I'd go with them.
