Engine rebuild ID help?
Hi all,
I just picked up my first Mustang (65 coupe) and really excited to be part of the community, a LOT of great info on this forum that I’m soaking up!
I’m getting to know my new ride, which has a lot of great upgrades but unfortunately it didn’t come with any paperwork…
The engine is stamped C5AE-6015-E so it seems to be a period correct 289.
On the bottom rear of the engine it has a small brass tag that says “Remanufactured 177732”
can anyone help me find more about who may have rebuilt it?
