Default Fuel Quantity Sender Float

I bought the more expensive fuel sender with a brass float. Looks like I might as well stick with the cheap plastic floats in the future. The original Ford part lasted forty years but I can't find a good quality replacement.

I head to change mine last year because it was getting “water logged “. The plastic replacement seems ok.
