My Mustang has a standard factory fake wood steering wheel. I hate the rim diameter, reminds me of my father's 65 ford F250. I have looked at a bunch of replacements but none of them excited me and the experiences I had with Grant and the adapters in the 1970's just left a bad taste in my mouth.

One evening after shutting down the grill and pouring another adult beverage I was inspired....

Next day I went to the local version of Home depot and bought a length of garden hose...

I then ordered a leather cover made to order from a woman in Poland...

I have a couple of wrinkles I need to work out....
