Hey All,
I have a 1973 Mustang Convertible with a 347 Stroker and the original C3 trans rebuilt with a shift kit. It ran well after I got it back from the shop for about a year or two.... however as of late, on heavy throttle, it trys to shift from 2nd to 3rd and it will hesitate (1-2 secs), rev up and then slam into 3rd. I am not a trans guy but have checked the fluid...and it looks right.

Any thoughts on what it could be? 1st and 2nd gear is smooth...

Hmmm, do these transmissions have bands that need adjusting? I'm not a transmission guy either.
