roof gutter replacement
as far as that goes not that i know of.... you might find a wrecked car and cut the old off...but that sounds hard to do, i havent seen any drip rail metal that has rusted, which is weird, but that would be your best bet
thanks,
i just called like every yard within 100 miles of me. nothing. i think it would look horrible without them... i can try to make my own, the whole section is not rusted out only about 6-8" on the ends. all i really need is something there so that i could glue the molding to it and no one would notice.
thanks again,
carl

the rails do rust out, water can get trapped underneath the sealer...or the sealer gets old and cracked and water gets in there causing the rails to rust... Soaring offered one of the best ideas. Cutting the rails out wouldn't be the best move as you could be tapping into the structure of the roof, although i'm making it sound worse than it is.
a picture or two would be nice to help us give you better advice.

here are a couple pics of the spots on each side. the rust is only on the front sections. i was thinking sandblast the entire length of each side and weld in some square tubing to build up the strength.
thanks for your help,
carl
