Aircraft/paint stripper can be found in parts stores, like NAPA, and pep boys, etc, or you can pick it up at an automotive paint supply. I have seen it at Wal Mart a few times, finding it isnt the problem. Being careful with it is, it is caustic and will burn your skin. It rinses with water if you do get some on you. Yes it is faster to do large area's and you dont get dust. You do get a sloppy wet mess that burns if you touch it.

It dries after a time, but I recomend doing a small area at a time, like 1/2 a fender or door, then the other half. Put plastic sheet down so its easier to clean up afterwards, and wear protective clothing and a respirator. Of course you already had a respirator from using sanding disc's right?

I used chem strip on a 71 Firebird, it did a pretty good job, took about half the time as it did to sand down a 67 Cougar. Body filler reacts with paint strip, so you may have more body work to do. I usually pull as much out as possible and fix it right, rather than have 3" of bondo filling a dent.

Thanks for the link to the discs, I been looking for some.
