Default White Smoke???

Just started it yesterday after being very busy for about 4 weeks (got hitched and was in Hawaii for 2 weeks) and something strange happened. White smoke came out from the left/driver side trumpet only. It lasted for about a minute and then subsided. I went out for a drive and all was well. Changed the oil and filter and slapped on my battery tender.

Anybody know what is up with the white smoke. It wasn't a ton, but noticeable plus a good amount of moisture as well.

Sat for a while, water accumulated in the pipes and/or condensed while it was warming up.

As long as it clears up quickly.

If it doesn't, White smoke can be a sign of blown head gaskets.

If your oil looked good upon changing (specifically, not milky), then you are good to go.

Sweet lookin' ride you got there.

Jim.

Your car is absolutely my favorite one on the site. When I first saw it, I sent the pix on to my wife telling her this is what we aspire to for ours (just purchased in June), the sort-of awkward little 6-cylinder sister to your GT. Finishing the pony interior next year. We'll see what transpires in years to come. Mustangs forever.

Thank you for the compliment Charlie1. Let me know if you have any questions or need some adviice when doing your pony interior. I might be able to help on some of the non-mechanical items. I am learning everyday and have a long way to go but have learned alot on mine so far.
